ESD steht für „Electrostatic Discharge“, also elektrostatische Entladung – eine kaum wahrnehmbare, aber potenziell schädliche Spannung, die entsteht, wenn sich Materialien durch Reibung unterschiedlich aufladen. Ein ESD-Arbeitstisch leitet elektrostatische Ladungen sicher ab und verhindert, dass empfindliche elektronische Bauteile dadurch Schaden nehmen.

Und so funktioniert der KARL ESD-Tisch:

Leitfähige Tischplatte aus HPL.

Unsere Tischplatten bestehen aus hochwertigem HPL (High Pressure Laminate) mit einem definiertem Oberflächenwiderstand (typisch 10^6 bis 10^8 Ohm). Diese Oberfläche leitet elektrostatische Ladungen kontrolliert ab und erfüllt damit die Anforderungen der DIN EN 61340-5-1.

Pulverbeschichtetes Stahlgestell.

Auch das Gestell unserer ESD-Arbeitstische ist elektrisch leitfähig. Dazu ist es mit einer speziellen, ableitfähigen Pulverbeschichtung versehen. Zusammen mit der Platte bildet es ein durchgängiges ESD-Schutzsystem. Durch seine stabile Konstruktion trägt es problemlos auch schwere Messgeräte oder Montagematerialien bei industriellen Anwendungen.

Zentraler Erdungspunkt.

Jeder KARL ESD-Arbeitstisch verfügt über einen klar gekennzeichneten Erdungsanschluss. Handgelenkbänder oder Fußmatten können hier ebenfalls angeschlossen werden, um den Menschen, der am ESD-Tisch arbeitet, zuverlässig zu erden. Zwischen Erdungspunkt und Erde ist ein 1 MOhm-Sicherheitswiderstand verbaut, der bei Fehlerströmen Mensch und Gerät schützt

Ableitfähiges Zubehör.

Wir haben ein umfangreiches Sortiment an ESD-Zubehör für ESD-Arbeitstische: von Schubladen über Monitorarme, Regalsysteme, Rollcontainer bis hin zur Beleuchtung, die sich in das ESD-Schutzsystem einfügen.

Ergonomische Varianten.

Wir bieten auch manuell und elektrisch höhenverstellbare ESD-Arbeitstische (650–1270 mm) sowie kippbare Tischplatten für ergonomisches und komfortables Arbeiten am Tisch.
