Why did you decide to train at Karl?
I decided to do an apprenticeship at Karl because, on the one hand, it is close to me and I have a manageable journey to get there and, on the other hand, because the employees at Karl all get on very well and I have already met one or two of them privately.

What are typical tasks that you perform as an apprentice?
A typical task for the trainees is, for example, processing the outgoing mail. We always take turns or the person who is currently at the company and not at school takes over. We are also assigned our own tasks in the department we are currently working in, which we can complete independently.

And which ones do you enjoy the most?
I actually enjoy all tasks where I don't have to ask because I can work independently.

What impressions of the first few months do you remember most? / What are the best memories of the first few months?
What I remember most is that everyone was really friendly to me, even though I had to ask for directions a few times in the production department thanks to my poor sense of direction.

How are trainees supported?
We have a permanent trainer who we can go to at any time with questions or other concerns. However, we also have the option of asking our colleagues in the relevant department for help.

Where does the good mood in the team trainee come from?
You help each other: if you have less work at the moment, you simply ask the other trainee if you can help them in any way, or if you have something to do and it's easier with two people, you simply ask the other trainee if they have a moment to help.

What do you particularly like about Team Karl?
I particularly like the relaxed working atmosphere and the friendly colleagues who are always willing to listen.
